I used to race cars professionally and I started using some tricks I learned during that time in my trading. Barry, I’ve been using the Better Sine Wave indicator in my intraday/swing trading for one week now. I purchased this indicator on its own because I have my own technique for analyzing volume and momentum which I’m comfortable with, but there was absolutely nothing in my arsenal like the sine wave indicator.
The indicator saved me from taking significant losses on at least two positions this week when I was in a trade that was barely moving, and the sine wave indicator signaled “end of trend” on the 6000 tick chart which told me to move on to something else (I trade multiple instruments). In both cases, the market then moved dramatically against me and I avoided the loss. It has also been effective at telling me when the market is shifting from trending mode to consolidation mode.
As for my trading in the first week, I had 8 of 9 winning trades for a 31% advance in my futures trading account. My approach is to join in trending moves on a pullback, and that’s it. My code points out any instrument that has had its momentum revert to the mean (50 on RSI) by advancing in price, indicating an impulsing up pattern, or by declining in price in an impulsing down pattern. I then join the trend and play the high probability of a new high/low. The sine wave indicator is a critical component to help me sift through opportunities I want to take and ones I don’t. For example, if I get this signal on an instrument that has made ‘end of trend’, I avoid it, since it could have topped. I’m enjoying the indicator. Well worth the money.” Jeff R.

I just started trading again after a few prior unsuccessful attempts and am up 28% for the month so far in March and 25% since I began at the beginning of February. I am typically able to make 1.5 to 2.5 points per trade and am trying to get comfortable sitting through some chop to get larger moves, which usually would have occurred had I held longer.
