It’s OK to be scared out of a trade and then dive back in. Sometimes you need a couple of bites at the cherry. Happens to me a lot – taking little breakeven or 1-point losing trades. But when the evidence re-confirms you got the direction right, jump back in.
Most of the time I do this, I lose some ground. Slippage, if you like. Maybe a point or two extra, that I need the market to move to in order to trigger my profit target exit. Today a nice little Short trade popped up, but I lost my nerve when it didn’t immediately go my way. But when it re-confirmed, I quickly re-entered.
Apologies for the crunchy voice. I’m trading at 4:30 am. And hadn’t had my coffee yet.
Enjoy your weekend.
