Emini Trading Update – Tuesday 5 Jul 2011 (9:35)
Low volume, low range day today – only 7 points top to bottom. The swings on the 4,500 tick chart showed the way – typical after a trend move (unless it was last week, when the trend would just not stop!).
Anyway, on days like today the trick is to follow the swings and combine them with Professional activity and exhaustion buying/selling.
And after a consolidation day like today we’ll maybe get a little more action tomorrow.
Quote of the day …
From Ashley P. who got a nice one-shot-one-kill today …
“Hi Barry, Today was fun! I sold the second cyclical turn after an end of trend warning on the 4500 tick bar chart and 12 minutes later was filled for 4 points. Nice ProAm signal on 4500 tick bar chart confirmed entry (34.75 – 30.75).
Great work and I have a feeling you are correct about the downward pressure that may be coming soon, but as usual, you are just a little ahead of the curve =) Deep thanks”
