Better Sine Wave
Improved version of John Ehlers’ Hilbert Sine Wave. The Better Sine Wave plots cycle entry points when the market is in a trading range. Then when the market breaks into a trend move, the indicator signals early entry and holds a position right to the end of the trend. Don't trade cycles without it. Works on any chart, any time frame. Better Pro Am
The second part of the puzzle is knowing what the Professionals and Amateurs are doing. You want to follow the Professionals and "fade" (do the opposite) the Amateurs. The Better Pro Am indicators have PaintBars for Professionals and Amateurs as well as accumulation / distribution volume patterns Like No Demand, Profit Taking and RAMBO. Go to Better Pro Am
Better Momentum
The classic momentum indicator calculates changes in price. This improved momentum indicator is based on changes in buying and selling volume. Declining buying volume always precedes a market top and vice versa for market bottoms. The Better Momentum indicator pinpoints these turning points and plots bullish/bearish divergence signals. Better TRIN
NOTE: TRADESTATION OPEN CODE. Better than RSI! Works on intra-day and end-of-day charts. These 4 new indicators use Trading Index (TRIN) data and, therefore, have the advantage of being non-price based. The TRIN is invaluable in measuring trend strength and early identification of market turning points. Also includes a TRIN-based system. Go to Better TRIN
Better Trend Line
NOTE: TRADESTATION ONLY CODE. "The big money is in the big moves" … and big moves develop from breaks out of congestion zones. The Better Trend Lines indicator plots trend lines automatically on a chart and then highlights these congestion zones. Possibly one of the simplest ways to trade. Works on any chart, any time frame. Available for TradeStation, NinjaTrader and MultiCharts
I trade for a living and specialize in Emini futures. In the process of developing my trading methodology I have become a TradeStation EasyLanguage specialist and accredited developer of trading tools for TradeStation.
MultiCharts is a great alternative to TradeStation. It’s very flexible and supports a large number of data feeds and brokers. MultiCharts also supports EasyLanguage – the easiest, most powerful and most widely used language for programming trading strategies and indicators.
NinjaTrader is a great platform, with a great following and I am trying to support it as fully as I can. Versions of all the indicators above (with the exception of Better TRIN and Better Trend Line) are now available for NinjaTrader. In addition, the Better Volume indicator has now been coded for NinjaTrader.
Why aren’t your indicators available for other platforms?
I frequently get asked for versions of the “Better” indicators for eSignal, Think or Swim, etc. Supporting multiple trading platforms is hard work and I’m a trader, first and foremost. Plus, many of these other platforms don’t have the functionality needed. So for the time being there are no plans to expand the list of trading platforms supported.
However, if this changes in the future, I will poll Emini-Watch.com subscribers for the most popular trading platforms to support next.
