Emini Trading Update – Tuesday 10 Mar 2011 (11:40)
Sorry if you’re getting this updates late – yesterday’s video was very long and took a while to render. By the time that was done the email delivery window had closed. Looks like I missed it today (Tuesday) too. Oh well, it’s up on the site asap. Plus, today’s video is shorter.
After an initial pop we spent almost all day consolidating between 1,348 and 1,351. Then finally in the afternoon we got another pop and exhaustion buying.
In today’s video I respond to a question from Jeff asking whether this last pop could have been anticipated. I think yes because we’d not seen exhaustion buying earlier in the day. Then during the consolidation phase we saw a whole series of Flush signals, flushing out the sellers.
I’ve tagged on my only good trade for the day – 3 points early on, which actually ran for another 2.50 points or so. Result for me was +2.25 after 6 trades – definitely over-trading but we’ve not had any decent large trend moves in the last couple of days. Hoping we’ll see one tomorrow.
The “Better” series of indicators have now been updated and re-compiled for the latest version of MultiCharts – 7.0.4267 Beta 3. All MultiCharts customers have been sent download links to the latest versions of the code. Don’t forget to download and save the files if you’ve not upgraded to the latest beta version of MultiCharts.
